@DeryaTR_@Sams_Antics Since you're an MD in US, I will say you need to be careful with HIPAA and keeping your AI from leaking PHI. Vibe coding does work much better if you know what to watch for, since the AI is typically like a junior dev you need to point in specific directions
Yes, and the medical space needs this more than anyone. A misconfigured Firebase bucket on a dating app leaked 72,000 selfies and IDs; now imagine that with patient records.
Most vibe coded apps ship with open databases, client-side API keys, and zero auth by default. The AI doesn't think about HIPAA for example.
Would definitely watch that series.
@barneyxbt "we don't know how, we didn't find an obvious mistake"
It's pretty much always the same mistake these days, the key was in the code. The AI put it there and nobody checked.
Even experienced engineers get complacent, and one missed line turns into an $82k bill overnight.
@max_spero_@Kornphlake Land ownership history? Medical records where the patient owns the data? ID verification? I mean none of these are easy things but they can all benefit from a decentralized trustless database
@sidrmsh@coinbase I think the sentiment is good here but you should look out for what the Mom Test describes in a situation like this. People usually state what they want when they don't really want it, and don't know what they want until a product is presented to them.
@dollarsanddata There've been numerous articles on people living paycheck to paycheck that came from a study from lendingtree; most of the respondees were these kind of paycheck to paycheck people. Of course articles wrote that half the US was living paycheck to paycheck from the study...
@ccwscott@nekonoani@gregg_re@soren_iverson Have you ever lived in SF? Because google telling people to walk through the Tenderloin instead of a safer route to "not discriminate" (which is completely based on the engineer's own preconceived opinions) would be a ridiculous safety issue
Not only has the former CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman, not been arrested for stealing billions of dollars, but he is speaking at a @nytimes business summit. The justice system is so broken.
Twitter has broken just about every piece of this FTX story using blockchain analytics, while NYT is writing puff pieces on a criminal.
Feels like a turning point for citizen journalism and loss of trust in MSM.
