@tsuyonpu Same here in Austria. I guess the sad part is that the extremists are very passionate to get shit done, it’s just the wrong shit…
Also LOL our AFD (the FPÖ) is now taking seats in the EU parliament when one of their goals is for Austria to leave the EU. 😅😅
I’m a lil scared
@TjayMarshall @Novelist_Nickie The way I understood it is that they did not delete or hide it - that someone may have hacked you and done it on gone end. And that they will check with their tech department to see if they can restore it for you, since usually they dont restore deleted series. Fingers crossed ❤️
@LlewellynAYSS Also for any European creators: you can’t sell away more than 50% of your intellectual property. 👀 just FYI. (In most countries. It varies a bit)
@LlewellynAYSS I just want to add for any aspiring creators, you have to do what you must to kickstart your career. Webtoon has helped a lot of artists make a living and acted as a springboard. Gauge what you are willing to sell away and where your boundary is. Selling your IP isn’t always bad!
@LlewellynAYSS I have a question. I haven’t been offered an originals contract so I honestly don’t know what it really says. But! I’m pretty sure they’re negotiable, and if you have an issue with anything it says in a contract, it’s important to always bring it up before signing.
@LlewellynAYSS If you weren’t taking your IP further on your own, it’s totally acceptable to sell rights and keep royalties. You’ll be making more money from webtoon’s work than you would without their help, you just have to make sure the numbers are negotiated fairly and you can consult.
@LlewellynAYSS To any originals creators: Have you managed to negotiate better deals? Also, if you sell your IP, don’t you still get royalties? If you’re planning on pitching & producing a show yourself then of course you can’t sell. But how many people actually go through with that?
