Today at Huye District, the workshop for District Insurance and Agribusiness Officers, along with Loss Assessors from various insurance companies organized by RAB-SPIU, through the CDAT Project under the NAIS Program, to focus on boosting the adoption of crop insurance products by increasing their uptake among farmers. The workshop included practical sessions on the Crop Cut Experiment (CCE), which were conducted in collaboration with chili-insured cooperatives and farmers in Huye Districts. The initiative aimed to enhance the understanding of crop insurance and provide hands-on experience, ensuring better implementation and accessibility of insurance for local chili farmers.
