@ragastelle The issue is that you had to interpret it. Given its significance since Caine ended up and there and the focus upon it in episode 1, explaining what it means is necessary.
@CepixLCP I understand what avoidment is and Jax handles that trope well but my issue that the writing SURROUNDING him doesn’t work hard enough to support it.
@oakleyscons@MarngelRambles That’s good. Yeah as someone who connected with characters like Ragatha and Gangle, it was kinda hard to see their stories get sidelined.
@oakleyscons@MarngelRambles Why are you assuming I didn’t understand it? There was a lot of plot holes and harmful messaging that ended up botching the messaging imo. Everyone has opinions.
@HollowfoxAlt@MarngelRambles Creative freedom isn’t a bad thing. (Also this isn’t a case of pancakes and waffles, they literally asked us what we want so I answered, I can understand why that seems out of left field)
@DevMajorAbel It’s out of left field though. As harsh as it sounds, him not coming back would’ve been more impactful because he didn’t take the chances he was given to change beforehand. His ignorance was his downfall.
@slashtiki As someone who’s experienced a lack of purpose at some point, them not focusing on how redevelopment takes time and love is NOT core messaging. They just forgive an abuser and shove in a tent. That’s it.
