Pffff...
No entiendo.
Gamesbeat: id Software was pitching and toying with various projects, including a new Perfect Dark, a John Wick style original game codenamed 'Fury', and a co-op DOOM before Xbox cuts hit the studio
One former dev says the studio has been "nuked into the dirt" and "relegated to support studio size"
"Collectively decades of knowledge was wiped out of the studio"

PlayStation hasn’t earned any goodwill this generation.
- Less exclusives than ever
- Closing Bluepoint
- Buying Bungie/laying off most staff
- Concord’s historic failure
- Fairgames/Break In’s impending doom
- Canceled The Last of Us online
- Increased subscription prices
- Increased console prices
- All in live service push
- Pulled out of PC releases
- Horrific security/account protection
- Closure of PS3/Vita digital storefronts
There was never going to be a scenario where people were happy about the discontinuation of discs, but Sony hasn’t even earned the goodwill to sustain such a decision.
There is less reasons than ever to lock yourself into a deeply flawed ecosystem that takes advantage of their consumers, ignores them and gouges for every last cent.
The only thing motivating PlayStation’s decisions are the lack of competition and the arrogance that comes with it. Their entire company depends on their gaming division for success. With the rise in costs and the continued allure of PC’s and Steam this could all go south for them very quickly. The PS4 momentum is gone, it’s time to start digging your way out of the relatively small (so far) hole you’ve put yourself in.
