Eric’s son bravely goes where few men dare to tread in 2026.
I read the entire article and I could not find a single flaw in any of Peter Sammons’ arguments or conclusions.
We really don’t have to live in a country where depravity and immodesty reigns.
Fellas, get it done!
I prayed at the grave of a woman who saw the Mother of God.
Not in Lourdes or Fatima, but in the woods of rural Wisconsin.
Her name was Adele Brice.
Born in Belgium in 1831, Adele lost the sight in one eye as a child. She never learned to read or write. As a young girl, she promised Our Lady she would become a religious sister, but her family emigrated to America, settling in the Wisconsin wilderness.
Then, in October 1859, while walking through the woods, Adele encountered a beautiful woman dressed in dazzling white, with a yellow sash, golden hair, and a crown of stars. She appeared three times, finally identifying herself as the Queen of Heaven.
Our Lady had a mission for her:
“Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.”
And Adele obeyed.
She traveled as far as 50 miles, walking from house to house, offering to do chores in exchange for the privilege of teaching children their catechism, the Sign of the Cross, and how to approach the sacraments.
In 1871, the deadliest wildfire in American history swept through Wisconsin. The Peshtigo Fire killed more than a thousand people and consumed entire communities.
Terrified families fled to Adele's chapel. Throughout the night, they carried a statue of Our Lady in procession, praying the Rosary and singing hymns as the flames approached.
By morning, the surrounding countryside was reduced to ashes.
But the fire had stopped at the chapel grounds. The people, the school, the convent, even the livestock sheltered there had survived.
Adele continued teaching there until her death in 1896. Today, she rests beneath a simple stone cross near the very place where the Blessed Virgin appeared to her.
In 2010, the Church formally approved the apparitions at Champion—the only approved Marian apparition in the United States. And on January 30, 2026, Adele was declared a Servant of God, beginning her formal journey toward canonization.
It was an extraordinary privilege to stand at her grave and pray. I keep thinking about this remarkable woman. She could neither read nor write, yet the Queen of Heaven entrusted her with teaching souls the way to salvation. And she spent the rest of her life doing exactly that.
Servant of God Adele Brice, pray for us.
Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.
I think Robert Kyanja Jnr CV should only read that he is Pastors Kyanjas son.
Otherwise that CV I am seeing online is whelming for someone coming from a miracle performing family
Another way the current administration is trapped in the ZERO-SUM FALLACY: The H-1B visa situation.
+ You are NOT taking a job from a citizen, rather creating jobs by increasing overal economic output. Plus these people (even vegetarians) SPEND locally.
+ The US has long been benefiting from other countries' brain drain; without it its edge wd collapse. Tesla, Von Braun, von Neumann, Fermi & Einstein did NOT each take the job of a citizen.
+ It the problem is anti-Indian racism, say it, don't play games.
Fr. Chad Ripperger, an exorcist, says there is a sentence that breaks the back of a demon's power over you, and you do not need a priest to say it. You need about four seconds. And if you cannot get it out of your mouth, that is the most useful thing you will learn this week.
Fr. Ripperger is explaining how much of this is actually within reach of an ordinary person, and he is blunt about how little it takes:
Sometimes people simply stop the thing they are doing, and that is enough. Not because stopping is holy in itself, but because of what it leaves the other side with:
"SOMETIMES IF PEOPLE JUST STOP THE ACTIVITY THEN WHAT YOU'LL FIND IS THAT THEN THE DEMON JUST DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO ... USE AGAINST YOU"
And then he gives the second thing, which costs nothing and which almost nobody has ever been told to do:
"THE OTHER THING THAT ... CAN BE VERY HELPFUL IS JUST MAKING A RENUNCIATION"
Out loud. By name. Naming the thing, not dancing around it:
"I RENOUNCE THE DEMON OF LYING. I RENOUNCE THE DEMON OF X"
Whatever your X is. The temper. The bottle. The scrolling. The self loathing you have carried since you were nineteen.
Now here is the part that makes this worth reading twice, because there is a test built into it. He says people who still have something attached in that area do not simply say it and move on:
"THEY'LL EITHER BE BLOCKED IN BEING ABLE TO MAKE THE RENUNCIATION OR THEY'LL FIND MAKING THE RENUNCIATION VERY DIFFICULT"
Read that again. The words stick. You go to say them and something in you does not want to. You feel silly, or you put it off until tomorrow, or you say it about the small one instead of the real one.
That resistance is not embarrassment. It is information.
And what happens on the other side of saying it anyway:
"ONCE THEY MAKE THE RENUNCIATION IT WILL BREAK THE BACK OF HIS POWER IN RELATIONSHIP TO THEM"
Not the end of the fight. The end of the grip. After that, he says, it is ordinary work: you grow the opposite virtue, and eventually the thing has nowhere left to stand.
He is honest that most people never get here on their own. They have to be led to it. But not everybody:
"ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE, YES. I JUST SAID I'M SICK OF THIS, I DON'T WANT THIS IN MY LIFE ANYMORE"
That is the whole entry requirement. Being sick of it.
So tonight, out loud, in an empty room. Name it properly, the real one, not the safe one:
"In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the demon of ___. I take back what I gave it, and I want it out of my life. Amen."
If it comes out easily, good. Say it again tomorrow. And if it sticks in your throat, you have just found out exactly where to start.
👇 One word if you know which one you have been avoiding naming: RENOUNCE. And send this to somebody who has been fighting the same thing for years without ever once saying its name out loud.

St. Catherine Emmerich’s vision of Mary at the Pillar
“During the harrowing events of Jesus's Passion, I was in Jerusalem, moving from place to place, overwhelmed by suffering, feeling as though I might die. While Jesus was being scourged, I sat nearby in an area Jews avoided for fear of ritual impurity, longing for even a drop of His blood to cleanse me. My heart was breaking, unable to help Jesus, and each lash felt like a blow to my own soul.
After the scourging, when Jesus was taken to be crowned with thorns, I wanted to follow, to witness his suffering further. It was then that the Blessed Virgin, along with the holy women, came to the pillar to collect the blood that had fallen. Her appearance during this time was profoundly moving.
Mary's face was pale and her eyes swollen from weeping, yet she carried herself with an indescribable dignity. Despite her immense sorrow and physical exhaustion from having wandered through Jerusalem and the Valley of Josaphat since the previous evening, she remained composed. Her veil draped gracefully, and her dress, though damp from dew and tears, was immaculate. Her beauty was beyond human description, embodying majesty, sanctity, simplicity, and purity.
In stark contrast was Mary Magdalen, who was taller and robust, showing signs of past passions and deep repentance. Her beauty was marred by her history and current grief; she looked almost mad with sorrow, her hair disheveled, her veil torn and wet. People from Magdalum, recognizing her from her previous life, watched her with a mix of curiosity and scorn, some even throwing mud at her, but she was oblivious, consumed by her grief.”
Gone are the days when being pretty was enough for you to thrive in this world. Nowadays every pretty babe is out there hawking, vending or selling something just to survive. Babes are selling shoes, make up, spare parts, insurance, juice, curtains, carpets & gadgets. Kitabuse!
There are people who are pointing out that the Pope went straight to science because of his cancer.
Of course he did. The Catholic Church established the first universities and hospitals in Europe and throughout the world.
