What a great dinner and what a wonderful wine. This is the 2016 Rosso di Montalcino from Siro Pacenti, one of my fav Montalcino producers. This wine is so awesome, it is about $35 but tastes like it could be $60. #siropacenti#italianwine#viniitaliani#winecoach
The 2015 Al Passo Toscana from @TolainiWines is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and is delicious. The medium rare ribeye on the side helps. #pairingmatters
Lazy Sunday afternoon, grilling some burgers, zucchini and enjoying this wonderful 2017 Albariño from @pacolola from the Rias Baixas region in Galicia, Spain. Repeating: try Albariño instead of Sauvignon Blanc, you will be rewarded!! #pacolola#albariño#riasbaixaswine#winecoach
Family complete again so back so time to grill a nice steak, and open a nice wine, in this case the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Forth our of Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma where we have so many good memories. #forth#forthwine#4th#j4th#drycreekvalley#winecoach#sonoma
Best enjoyed with the right company! Aro is the top wine of @bodegasmuga we visited in Haro, La Rioja, Spain. I left The Netherlands ten years ago and do not see my family all the time, it was great to open this special bottle and enjoy it with them. #aro#muga#bodegasmuga
Enjoying a glass of Italian sparkling. This is not Prosecco, but a ‘metodo classico’ which means it uses the same method as champagne. This 2011 Ardé Gavi from Castelleri Bergaglio was delicious and a lot budget friendlier than actual champagne! #metodoclassico#gavi#bergaglio
Having the 2016 Albariño from Do Ferreiro from Rias Baixas in the Northwest of Spain. Great wine to accompany this delicious dish! In case of doubt when selecting a white wine, Albariño is often a good pick, especially with seafood! #albarino#albariño#doferreiro#riasbaixaswine
@VivancoWines@AnaSandee Unfortunately we could not make it part of our short visit; will have to be on the agenda for the next time we visit this beautiful region
Dinner in Haro on Monday night: more cold cuts because come on it’s so good with the 2012 La Vicalanda from Bodegas Bilbainas, another delicious 100% Tempranillo. After dinner @AnaSandee and I tried Palomino fine sherry from Tio Pepe. #lovelarioja#bilbainas#sherry#lavicalanda
What an amazing experience at @Cvne seeing their Gustav Eifel designed location, being blown away by their library wine ‘cemetery’ and tasting delicious wines while learning about La Rioja grapes. #larioja#cvne#haro#winetourism
I’m at @bodegasmuga ! Bodegas Muga in Haro in La Rioja in Spain to be exact! Just had a great tour, learned about Muga wines and how this is really a family business despite being a well known brand! #muga#winecoach#larioja#haro
