@HumzaYousaf I think Omicron BA.2 is too infectious to control with NPIs. Look at China, for example. The waves have built up our immunity and I think masks may be doing more harm than good as they are preventing people from building up even further immunity. It’s kicking us in the butt.

@Jma99Jma @TravellingTabby It's because there are more vaccinated people than unvaccinated now, the most at risk people are nearly all double vaccinated, and most unvaccinated are low risk (young). So, one needs to compare at risk groups now vs. how they would have been in the past without the vaccine.
