The Supreme Court has ordered the final forfeiture of seven luxury properties belonging to former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele.

The apex court overturned the Court of Appeal’s ruling that had ordered a retrial, thereby restoring the earlier final forfeiture decision by the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The judgment, delivered unanimously by a five-member panel led by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, brings an end to Emefiele’s legal challenge against the seizure of the assets.

I have not been a fan of the Tinubu government but tbh, for the very first time, I must commend his government.

Although one thing I also noticed about his government before today is the fact that there have not been any serious or prolonged ASUU strike since his government began but due to the fact he’s not my preferred candidate, I pretend not to see that or acknowledge that.
