Actually obscene that a business paying its CEO this much and clearing nearly ยฃ400 million in post-tax profit have laid off nearly 5000 workers since early 2024.
As a staff member of one of the big UK #supermarkets, I can 100% say (from experience) they would (for some reason) rather let people steal than have to pay a security guard.
