After she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Disease last year around her 5th birthday, the vet said she had weeks to live…If we were lucky, maybe a few months.

ONE YEAR LATER. She is still fighting.

Very odd world we live in where people announce k*lling their own children on social media because they have Down syndrome (aka not perfect and a burden to selfish people)

You’re still parents to a child you took a contract out on. My sympathy is for that child and the horror they had to endure at the hands of their parents because they couldn’t be what you wanted them to.. But don’t worry, they are safe now away from you with Jesus Christ.

There's definitely a place for options trading but x/reddit/social media whatever is really turning towards a casino mentality when it comes to investing.

@BozoProzo I am pretty sure this is a case of reducto ad absurdum, which is one of my favorite logical tests for any statement.

There may be a more specific descriptor for this test but "let's take this logic to the extreme" is a really good practice.

Why? Multiple reasons, but from a utilitarian perspective, you could call it civilization scale suicide.
