@GBNEWS 20 odd years ago my children had jobs while in college, working in local supermarkets, stacking shelves, in pubs waitressing serving customers etc while in college, my grandchildren are now jobless at this age.
Spaces and institutions that were once the seedbed of social interaction and human flourishing in our society are dying fast. What are we going to do about it? My latest piece (no paywall). ⬇️ https://t.co/La0AD7mlkt
Dear Mr Starmer,
Many thanks for your success in getting the Strait of Hormuz open.
It's one hell of an achievement.
There can now be no doubt that you've earnt the title of the greatest British Prime Minister of all time.
The people of Newton Abbot in Devon would very much appreciate it if you could reopen the A382 which runs North from the town to join the A38 at Drumbridges approximately 3 miles away.
It's been closed for over a year due to "upgrading" works and isn't expected to open for another 12 months.
To be honest, it's a right pain in the ass.
PS. I've also asked Mr Trump for help. No offence intended.
@purbrooktony@rickygervais My mum (rip) lived in Plymouth during WW2, her best friend lived across the road with her mum and disabled dad. When being bombed one night her friend and mum hid under the stairs, her dad under the dining table. The bomb hit the roof then stairs, her dad was the only survivor.
