Holy shit 🇧🇷 In an UNPRECEDENTED move, the United States suspends ALL embassy services in all American consulates in Brazil… with no justification whatsoever. Yet another fear-stoking effort to interfere in the country’s democratic elections this weekend.
Thank you, President Lula, for your words.
"In Cuba, the world watches in horror as collective punishment is imposed on 10 million people by an illegal economic and energy embargo."
Congresswoman María Elvira Salazar wanted to talk about Cuba’s government. We wanted to talk about what OUR government is doing to Cuba.
If you care about the Cuban people, then talk about the six-decade U.S. blockade that has strangled Cuba’s economy. Let food in. Let medicine in. Let oil in. Let electricity flow.
The United States does not get to decide Cuba’s future. Cubans do.
END THE SANCTIONS. LET CUBA LIVE. :flag-cu:
My statement on Israel's decision to ban me and 10 other British MPs from entry.
"I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people.
They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return.
As the world wakes up to the genocide in Gaza, it is shocking that Israel continues to deny entry to UN investigators and international journalists. Israel doesn't want the world to see what it is doing - but we can never give up in our attempts to expose the truth.
That is the real scandal. Israel’s genocide cannot go unpunished - and I will keep speaking up for peace, freedom and justice for the Palestinian people."
Trump's oil blockade has exponentially worsened the human rights crisis in Cuba.
The Cuban people are facing frequent blackouts. They lack access to basic needs like food and medicine.
We must break the blockade and ensure human rights for the people of Cuba.

Ms. Rachel, we have some little voices we’d LOVE for you to hear!
You’ve shown the world what it looks like to use your platform to stand up for children. Now we’re asking you to turn your attention just 90 miles from the U.S. To the children of Cuba, who are suffering under the devastating U.S. blockade.
Let’s make sure she sees this! TAG @msrachelforlittles in the comments. Once, twice, a hundred times! And if you haven’t signed the petition yet, add your name and help us get Ms. Rachel’s attention!

We love you Ms. Rachel!
During the dialogue with .@UNDP Administrator .@alexanderdecroo I denounced how the intensification of the U.S. blockade directly undermines cooperation between the UNDP and #Cuba
A dozen UNDP containers remain stranded in regional ports, while medical supplies, medicines, and humanitarian resources are prevented from reaching the Cuban people.
#CubaIsNotAThreat the blockade IS.
Pura verdad lo que plantea aquí Díaz-Canel. Si el modelo de Cuba es un fracaso por sí mismo, si el socialismo no funciona, ¿por qué tanto empeño en hacerlo colapsar desde afuera?
I admit, the Florida races haven’t been on my radar very much this cycle, but when I heard Angie Nixon won her U.S. Senate primary last night, it took me back.
I remembered her name. Her face especially. I remembered there was a reason she had been on my radar.
So I searched my old posts and found this video from 2023. Y’all need to watch it.
I teared up all over again.
This was Nixon after three Black people were murdered in a racist shooting in Jacksonville. She was grieving, furious, and absolutely fearless. A fighter.
