"The purchase price was put at $386,000 (U.S.) — that’s $534,650 in Canadian funds based on the current exchange rate."
So @NiagRegPolice bought a half million dollar drone from an American company in a single source procurement process?

@YGKRogue Wish we would do like Ottawa is doing
“Staff say the purchase would leverage funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), which will cover up to 95 per cent of the $45-million purchase if it's approved before April 1.”

Mozambique's President Daniel Chapo has signed a new law requiring 15% state ownership in all mining ventures and local processing of minerals, tightening control over its resources as demand for battery materials grows.
We are of course told that we should be grateful it’s not worse, that at least they’re not burning crosses on our lawns and that at least it’s better than segregation. We are always to compare the present to the past and therefore what we experience in the present isn’t real.
The people in power will never think racism is a “scourge” or a “crisis” because they think it’s normal and we deserve it. We’re supposed to work hard, rise above, and it’s our responsibility to change it. If they think something is status quo it can’t be a crisis.

Denying Israel's right to exist is good and moral. More Canadians should openly and plainly deny that any state - especially a settler colony and an ethnostate - has any right to exist. It isn't antisemitic to say so. Canada and other settler colonies shouldn't exist either.
It’s bad enough that this motion was defeated. The fact that it was defeated by a wide margin highlights the degeneracy of Canada’s political elite. They have no moral authority to criticize the human rights abuses of anyone.

Wherever they can, Ford's corrupt PCs centralize power and undermine democratic institutions instead of strengthening them. The 40-year corporate-financed rollback of democratic institutions in Ontario won't end until there is a political revolt against this agenda.
