Took a video of me, on my way to my first placement as a student nurse. I was so excited to have that uniform on and couldn’t wait to meet the team I was going work with. Can’t believe it already a year now🤭. Time flies so quick, this are now first year Memories!!!
Having an idea about WeLearn and being part of it, is one of the best things that has happened to me as a first year Mental Health student. I have gained a lot of information about being a nurse from the Tweetchats in 3weeks and I'm grateful. All say CHEERS🥂to WeLearn #PUNC21
Reading through some cases of nurses being fired for misusing social media really scares me. At some point I wonder if I've been doing the right things on social media. Or should I quit social media to stay safe🤪. No way I'm doing that when I have the NMC CODE as a guide.#PUNC21
@WeNurses With social media distance is not a problem. Nurses can gain information from any group or organisation they want just by browsing their names out. With the help of social media, nurses can follow up patients' care plan in the comfort of their home. #PUNC22.
As future nurses due to ignorance on Digital Footprints in the past, may have posted information that could negatively affect our future. With understandings of digital footprints, adjustments can be made. Go through your posts and reflect on its impacts on you as a nurse #PUNC22
Professionals must avoid sharing confidential information inappropriately. The Nursing and Midwifery Code (NMC) frowns at this. Health Professional should guard against inadvertent sharing of patients' confidential information with third parties. THINK BEFORE TALKING. #PUNC22
@WeNurses Being a professional means acting respectfully or working in a way that others see you as someone who they can rely on. Being a professional is not all about representing yourself but also about representing your professional body in brilliant way. #PUNC22
