What is particularly perplexing is the ease with which some people become self-appointed gatekeepers of leadership, arrogantly declaring who is electable and who is not. Democracy is not built on personal biases, political dogma, or partisan animosity; it is founded on the sovereign will of the people. Every candidate deserves to be assessed objectively, not subjected to relentless disparagement before presenting their agenda.

History has repeatedly demonstrated that political prognostications are often spectacularly inaccurate. Those who ridicule a candidacy today may very well witness the same individual ascend to the highest office tomorrow. Political arrogance has a habit of colliding with reality.

Babu was given the responsibility of securing the political vehicle for the movement. He then ended up as party leader, with Orengo as patron. That naturally raises questions about who this party was really designed to serve.

Now Onyonka is offering a different version of how the party came about, yet Babu’s own account during his press briefing tells a different story. The timelines and explanations simply don’t add up.

You cannot demand a seat at the table while lacking a solid political stronghold. If you truly intend to lead the so-called Mwananchi Party, then start by going back to Nyanza and rallying leaders from the ground up...including Gladys Wanga and consolidate ODM before speaking of national structures.

Otherwise, take full control of ODM and ensure your own ground is stable, because politics is not built on appearances and rallies alone. It is not built on optics that end in hostility, tension, or destruction whenever you return to your bases.

There is no political table where Sifuna, Orengo, and Babu sit without demonstrating real numbers on the ground waache jokes Buana Alaa! And If that table exists, then leaders like Obed Mwale, Natembeya, and others will also have a rightful place in shaping it.

I have nothing to lose by telling Kenyans what I know and believe is the truth. But Kenyans have something to lose when they make decisions based on leaders they do not fully understand.

I am raising serious concerns about Paul Ongili, popularly known as Babu Owino. I have been informed and I believe there was an attempt to politically undermine Sifuna, where Babu was allegedly approached with an offer to finish Sifuna politically. Babu demanded KSh 1 billion during the discussion, KSh 300 million has been delivered to fund activities including bloggers to defend him and deal with anyone who goes against him or exposes him as well as deal with Sifuna as well as buy all Sifuna influencers , media influence to run a positive narrative about Babu and defame Sifuna selling a narrative that Sifuna needs Babu more than Babu needs him , and political mobilisation, with the aim of weakening Sifuna and chasing him away from rallies.

The statement about Babu not attending all Linda Mwananchi rallies was intentional and meant to prepare Kenyans so that if Sifuna faced challenges including being booed and chased away from the ground by goons that Babu will mobilize for that work , people would call for Babu to take over mobilisation. This would create a situation where Babu becomes more powerful than Sifuna and Sifuna operates at his mercy.

With the honoring of the Kshs 1Billion deal and delivery of Kshs 300M , Babu’s focus may not be the gubernatorial race, but securing his political interests, with the remaining KSh 700 million allegedly being enough to strengthen his position and return to Embakasi East to defend his current seat.

I know Babu from our days in SONU , many of you knew him during his time as Embakasi East MP. I have my own experiences and reasons for raising these concerns. Babu is a snake that bites while smiling at you . He is a man on a mission to finish Sifuna and he is currently begging Sifuna not to divorce him but accept they form a coalition under Linda Mwananchi .

Pray for Sifuna and pray for peace in our politics.

My message remains: I have nothing to lose for telling Kenyans the truth, but Kenyans have something to lose if they ignore important warnings.
