@IndiaUNGeneva I urge UN to look at the comment section & check reality:
Robust institutions - Fully compromised now by BJP
Independent Judiciary - BJP stooges installed in judiciary
Free media - More like Godi Media
I curse the worse for the BJP government. Shame on you. Bye bye in 2029.
Delhi Police walked into Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and dragged protesters out. Shoes on. Heads uncovered. Lathis out.
The same gurdwara that has fed and sheltered millions without asking who they are.
No govt has survived after sending troops into a gurudwara. Disgusting!
That video of that girl getting beaten up by a 55 year old Sanghi has shred my heart to pieces.
That one video and the Abhishaap from it will sink the entire BJP and Sanghis will be brought to justice.
Just wait for it.
Once this ruling party is gone, some of its Andhbhakts, influencers, journalists, and media houses will come forward with apologies, claiming they were under pressure or unaware of the reality.
DON’T ACCEPT THOSE APOLOGIES.
You may be a good human being, but don’t be a foolish one. The truth is out there for everyone to see.
They are deliberately choosing sides or choosing to remain silent. Remember that.
UN Human Rights Spokesperson
"We are concerned by reports of mass detentions in India of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi"
From denying permission for a peaceful demonstration, halting all Delhi-bound trains, and sealing the city’s borders, to issuing an internet suspension order near the protest site, and pre-emptively arresting activists – India’s authorities are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to prevent this march from happening.
The right to protest is protected in India’s constitution. The authorities must immediately lift all these arbitrary restrictions, which violate India’s obligations under international law.
Demonstrations should not depend on obtaining prior permission from the police.
