ANOTHER TRAGEDY IN UKRAINE REMINDS US WHY GOD’S KINGDOM IS OUR ONLY HOPE
Another heartbreaking chapter has been added to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Recent reports indicate that a large-scale missile and drone attack struck several Ukrainian cities, claiming innocent lives and leaving many others injured. Families have lost loved ones, homes have been damaged, and countless people continue to endure the emotional and physical toll of war.
Scenes like these remind us of a sobering reality: despite humanity’s efforts, lasting peace has remained beyond the reach of human governments. Wars continue to bring suffering, fear, and uncertainty to millions around the world.
Yet the Bible points to a better future.
“He is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth.” — Psalm 46:9
Jehovah God has promised a time when war, violence, and suffering will be no more. Under God’s Kingdom, ruled by Jesus Christ, people will enjoy genuine peace and security.
“Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.” — Isaiah 2:4
Soon, families everywhere will be able to live without fear, raise their children in safety, and enjoy the peaceful conditions that Jehovah originally intended for mankind.
In a world troubled by conflict and loss, the Bible’s promise of lasting peace gives real hope for the future. https://t.co/sk0J44ZlEP
Why Jesus Did Not Have to Be God to Save Mankind
Imagine a judge whose son damages a neighbor's property worth exactly one million dollars. Would justice require the payment of ten million dollars? Of course not. Justice would require an equal compensation—no more and no less.
The same principle lies at the heart of mankind's salvation.
The problem began when a perfect man, Adam, lost something priceless: perfect human life and the right to live forever on a paradise earth. Because Adam sinned, all his descendants inherited sin and death. (Romans 5:12) The debt was not created by a God. It was created by a perfect man.
Therefore, what was needed was not a divine life as a ransom, but a corresponding ransom—a perfect human life equal to the one Adam lost. Jehovah's justice required an exact balance. That is why the Bible calls Jesus "the last Adam." (1 Corinthians 15:45) He came to succeed where the first Adam failed.
The apostle Paul explained: "Since death came through a man, resurrection of the dead also comes through a man." (1 Corinthians 15:21) Notice the beautiful symmetry. A man brought death; a man would provide the basis for life. Adam's disobedience condemned mankind; Jesus' obedience would redeem mankind. — Romans 5:18, 19.
If Jesus had been God, he would not have been a corresponding ransom for Adam. Adam was not God; he was a perfect human. To satisfy divine justice, the price had to match what was lost. For this reason, Jehovah sent his Son to earth as a perfect man, free from Adamic sin. (Luke 1:35)
Jesus repeatedly distinguished himself from Jehovah, calling him "the only true God" and acknowledging that "the Father is greater than I am." (John 17:3; 14:28) He came, not as Almighty God, but as the perfect human sacrifice that God's justice required.
What Adam lost, Jesus bought back. What the first Adam ruined, the Last Adam will restore. Through his perfect human life and faithful obedience, Jesus provided the corresponding ransom that opens the way for obedient mankind to gain everlasting life on a paradise earth—exactly what Jehovah purposed from the beginning
Jehovah's government is nothing like this trash, seek Him before it is too late. He will put you first not barbarians at the door raping and killing you and yours at will. See https://t.co/C7FymZnwC9.
These people have already decided to go against Him, they will lose.
@Wiseman738797@UnkleAyo I never claimed otherwise; but I am smart enough to stay away from the deadly political matrix entirely. It is like raw human sewage and I want no taste of it like you do.
We are one day closer to this beautiful life. The pain from Satan’s system will never be felt again. Not even the memory will come up into the heart or mind.
Keep clinging to Jehovah and feeding your faith. He will make all things new soon. We have His word and it never fails.
@Ladyfirst@wynrosei Your heart is properly moved into sighing and groaning over the detestable acts of Satan's world. That will be counted to you as righteous awareness.
@Ladyfirst@wynrosei Agreed. And I had not read into the account, just the brief text shown at the start. And yes you are correct in your statement; ill health or not, he still made the choice of doing that. No excusing his actions.
@BuBdyc@ARIKAHENRY Yes you are welcome. But you would also be correct, it is not something we throw around or say lightly; simply because as you said above — that's how many people react. We do not want to detract from the message; but we do not shy away from a fact of our being a messenger either.
@Ladyfirst@wynrosei No not directly but if he was somehow feeling unhealthy he could have been bothered into a deviant way of thought that drove him to acts of desperation. I mean, how could he look at himself in a mirror and think that's normal? Very concerning.
