@Accelr8_Dan@shagbark_hick Dan, not sure where you live but he's referring to rural NY. My family of 6 lives in a major metro, home value of $600k, and we don't spend anywhere near these high numbers for many categories. $3600/year for home repairs? 1200/year for cell service? Huh?
@Rich_Willliams@AJA_Cortes Obviously there need to be standards for the transfer of responsibility of a human life. To think otherwise is to be a proponent of human trafficking. Biological procreation involves no transfer, of course. @A
@classicallyabby Serve it to him for breakfast. One of my four boys had to eat chili for breakfast once. He never forgot.
Granted, this is within the framework of recognizing that it's okay for each child to have preferences and in general we strive to respect those via portion sizing, etc.
The best thing about all these picks is they’re picks who will look inward to clean out the filth instead of looking outward for ways they can rule us.
Honestly, it’s more than I ever hoped for so far.
This is a test.
Movement Conservatives at legacy Washington think tanks are going to quote to you chapter and verse from the Constitution and the founders. They think nothing has substantially changed since 1787.
New Right Americans understand that the original constitutional order has been shredded and we now live under a technocratic, managerial surveillance state determined to reduce citizens to serfs, and if they won’t submit, to replace them with imported subjects.
What does Hamilton say at the beginning of Federalist no. 76 where Whelan is quoting from? “The true test of a good government is its aptitude and tendency to produce a good administration.” Hamilton knows the end or purpose is good government, not procedural checklists that will produce outwardly “respectable” cabinet appointments.
The Biden-Harris administration was a wreck, wicked and immoral; his government was tyrannical. Trump’s first order of business is to clean this up, and for this he needs strong willed, ambitious characters utterly loyal to him and his America First vision. This is good governance for our time. The era of the mealy-mouthed, respectable, and procedural conservative cowards is over.
William Wolfe raises a valid point. It will be interesting to see just how many evangelical leaders who gave Collins a pass will suddenly express concerns about RFK's views on abortion. To be clear, I *am* concerned about RFK's views on social issues, and I would have preferred another pick for HHS. But I was openly critical of Francis Collins and opposed Trump keeping him as the head of NIH in 2017. I hope that Trump will appoint someone with strong pro-life credentials as a deputy director of HHS or in other key departments where it would be relevant. Having said that, RFK's views on medical freedom (especially when it came to COVID mandates), free speech, and accountability for Big Pharma are a benefit to all Americans.
@TheJape123 @Cernovich Sorry to hear that. Very frustrating when you're already sleep deprived. We changed pediatricians three times due to this issue -ask friends or a local parent group (through church/school/etc.) for referrals to ped's who will listen and respect your opinions!
@TallBlondeGuy@MikeWingerii Are you familiar with primary elections?
Mike has made clear that he has never voted for Trump in a primary. Each party has a relatively wide range of candidates to choose from prior to a general election... Sadly, primary voter turnout in most cases is very low.
@RealCyrusAmaria @troymc94 Teach, train & equip your children to save sex for marriage.
I heard your perspective while door to door lobbying for pro-life issues & learned it's often selfishness - avoiding embarrassment and financial obligations - rather than concern for the daughter
@GigaBasedDad Great list GBD.

@AlissaWalsh21@MattWalshBlog My wife feels your pain Alissa. Minivan vibes are rough.
Check out a Chevy Suburban (bench seat version) - room for 8! Power fold down seats. My wife loves our suburban for our family of 6. We put our twins (9 mths) in the middle row, big kids in the back.

It is one thing to sneer at political opponents, call them SJWs, and treat them as faceless soldiers to slay on cultural war battlefields. That’s easy, and can be perversely gratifying. It is quite another thing to see them as imperfect, oft-hurting image-bearers, like us.
Sen. James Lankford: "Do you find that odd that in federal law we protect an eagle egg acknowledging that's an eagle inside that egg, and we protect a turtle egg saying we acknowledge that's a turtle inside that egg, but we allow the destruction of children?"
