Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race.
Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.
Super fast, got run into the fence, less fast but still kinda fast. Grumpy meter maxed out over here but proud of the team for a top 5 with so much damage.

Over 400 battles in a #Canucks jersey, a leader on and off the ice — J.T., your passion and impact on this team and city won’t be forgotten. Thank you for everything!
We wish you all the best in New York City!
I can understand being frustrated by the lack of points but Pettersson had a strong game tonight. Was mostly matched up against the Kopitar line and completely shut them down.
Kings had just one shot on goal when Pettersson was up against Kopitar at even strength. #Canucks
Alex Bowman learned the DQ news from Twitter and then he threw his phone in the pool bc he knew it was about to blow up with texts. When it hit the bottom of the pool, his phone called 911 because it thought he had been in a car crash. (Fortunately the cops didn’t show up because there was no service under the water, he said.). His phone still works (iPhones are waterproof.) Also his car window cracked when it got cold outside and the roof on his house leaked. “It’s been a week, man.”
@MikeInTheFront It’s nice knowing if I leave the house late I can still get to YYZ ontime with the 407. But having that to fall back on is prob why I allow myself to leave late 😂
