@CityofDurhamNC @DurhamChamber @DowntownDurham @thegdbcc Love seeing the city take such actions! One proposal I have: waive the county sales tax (2.25%) for restaurants to encourage takeout orders. Propose the same for the State General Tax. This could be 1) an economic demand nudge, and 2) act as publicity to support our businesses.
