Ethiopia is making history! A bold and transformative #NationalDialogue is underway in full swing — one that could redefine the nation’s future! This is more than just politics; it’s a powerful movement toward unity, progress, and a new era of possibility.
Resilient Peace 🔋
At the moment, as many people of common sense agree, the national dialogue opens a great opportunity to build a better Ethiopia, an Ethiopia that is commensurate with the needs, wants and interests of its citizens.
Let’s commit to the process. Let’s embrace peace ☮️
@AbiyAhmedAli during the commencement agenda-items gathering of the #NationalDialogue last year stressed that dialogue is essential and offers the opportunity to develop a culture of problem-solving through discussion rather than conflict more than ever before.
In his address to the 36th regular session of @FDREHOPR in July 2024 he stated the process will help address and solve fundamental issues, promote a culture of consultation, and provide opposing groups the opportunity to work together with common understanding.
The alternative is ominously unthinkable. Quite naturally, dialogue is the only and most effective path to lasting peace, prosperity, and a shared future for all Ethiopians and the region. If the dialogue fails, Ethiopia fails.
Let's make it work and give peace a second chance.
#CALLTOACTION: The #NationalDialogue isn't just a dialogue. It’s our only hope to stitch our country back together. Without a truly all-inclusive, honest dialogue, we risk losing the very idea of #Ethiopia. This isn't about one group winning but about all Ethiopians surviving.
