மின்சார கட்டணத்தை அதிகரிப்பதற்கு இலங்கை பொதுப் பயன்பாடுகள் ஆணைக்குழுவின் அனுமதி கிடைத்துள்ளதாக இலங்கை மின்சார சபை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மின்சார சபையின் முன்மொழிவின்படி, இன்று (பிப்ரவரி 15) முதல் அமுலுக்கு வரும் வகையில் மின்சாரக் கட்டணங்கள் கிட்டத்தட்ட 66% அதிகரிக்கப்படும்.
