people crying over Vi being a cop is so stupid
she was supposed to be one, and most of the people hating on it are the people who hate police for existing
really hope none of the backlash influences the actual show
@VALORANT@RiotSuperCakes It still baffles me that people KNOW there is a way to mute toxic players and choose actively not to.
It takes one click to mute a player who's being toxic. You press ESC, you click the button— boom, the toxic person is not speaking anymore.
People whine for no reason.
@ThePrimeagen what is really strange to believe is that there is natural inability to do something— some people think they can't do maths saying "I'm not a maths person"
There may be talent but no one is born talentless. If you want to be decent at something, you needn't be talanted.
@thegrayfruit i don't think it's as bad as you are making it out to be
not good, definetely
league has a similar system and i think it works (it would be better if all the champs were available from day 1 but yeah)
@MvdVegt91@lachesisq@chesscom@VBkramnik I think you can trust Kramnik to plug numbers into a formula.
He did not play "a bad game" and then "a good one", he played multiple bad games, made amateurish mistakes and then played on par with a GM and a super GM.
"very capable" at chess does not play with 80% acc against CM.
@MvdVegt91@lachesisq@chesscom@VBkramnik It's not 200. It's a performance increase of 900.
And the higher you go the more weight you have to put into those points. 1600 beating an 1800? Sure, happens. 2300 beating a 2700? Hard to believe.
And the problem isn't the draw itself, but his performace PRIOR to the draw.
@MvdVegt91@lachesisq@chesscom@VBkramnik This is not about top players making bad moves, this is about the guy losing to CMs with terrible accuracy and then drawing a super GM.
How can the FM be good enough to draw a super GM because of these small mistakes and not good enough to beat a CM?
It's not a blind accusation.
