Thinking of the family and many friends of Jim Flaherty today as we mourn 7 years without him. He was a great Canadian who cared deeply for the people of our country.
@UPS really disappointed with your service. Driver doesn’t even show up at my building but marks delivery as not at home. Everyone is home during a lock down. And the UPS ground allows for door front drop off. Explanation please.
@CBCPolitics@CBCAlerts The question here is why a summer student working with a member of parliament will be terminated over a partisan issue. Were they utilizing tax payer resources for campaign work? 🤔
@JessHamiltonSRP @liberal_party@ElizabethMay Your white privilege has just made you call a brown man and a legitimate elected representative of Canada a terrorist. Sounds familiar @theJagmeetSingh ? Disgusting racism by @ElizabethMay and Green Party candidate
@JessHamiltonSRP Deeply disappointed in #greenparty candidate retweeting gossip from an unverifiable account with 0 followers. UR riding has 1000s of survivors of srilankan genocide who have been called terriorist by conservatives. Your white privilege is showing@NDP @liberal_party@ElizabethMay
@MPCelina In a diverse community this is a pretty western-centric "wisdom". 1/In many cultures the concept of "shaking hands" doesn't exist or is a postcolonial introduction.
2/one can always be overcome with guilt or remorse not to be able to look another in the eye.But no less sincere
After the #CPC Leadership I felt for @MaximeBernier. Losing was hard for me too & he was much closer than I was. But when he put his own ambition ahead of his country and his friends it confirms that he never did have the character to lead.
Like our leader @AndrewScheer said, we’re building a team that is ready and able to lead Canada. I look forward to being part of that team, as I withdraw my candidacy for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill, and instead seek our party’s nomination in Richmond Hill! 2/3 #cdnpoli
How well does my wife know me? Great gift of Prime Minister @stephenharper's new book Right Here, Right Now. Wise words from a visionary leader that I had the privilege to serve with in Canada's 41st Parliament.
Indian Foreign Minister @SushmaSwaraj is a fierce proponent for her country, and it was great to have met her. Together, we discussed security and prosperity for India, and how we stand together as essential friends and allies across the Indo-Pacific in a changing world.
