@ihors3 Maybe not a coincidence that the most promising vertically integrated renewable energy company is facing an abnormal level of long term shorts and a relentless FUD campaign in media. List of powerful industry interests that the $TSLA business model is challenging is scary.
Comparing Tesla to Toyota, VW, Ford, GM, etc. is like comparing Netflix to Blockbuster in 2010.
One is the future. The others will cease to exist in the future.
Toyota, VW, Ford, GM (and others) will all go bankrupt, merge or majorly downsize in next 10 years.
$TSLAQ uncle Jim, on November 21, about $300 ago:
“Tesla is and remains one of our biggest and our best short positions.”
No wonder
@WallStCynic musings about $TSLA become weirder and weirder.
@cnm3789 @majella1755 @WSJ The grid is already built out almost everywhere you can travel with a car, just a matter of connecting enough fast chargers.
In 2007, when the iPhone was released, Nokia's market cap was $80bn. 12 years down the line, Apple is at $1.4tn... Doesn't that make comparing market caps of $TSLA and Ford or BMW totally irrelevant?
@PATreasury@ajtourville @jasonschwab1 @PerogiXW Well, surely the best way to start a conversation about income inequality is to make fun of anyone who puts their own money on the line to try to make mass transit cheaper, faster, and more convenient, rather than buying a megayacht or island or whatnot.
And if @elonmusk frustration [rushed attempt to take private, ect] is any indication, it was doing material harm to Tesla and was a existential threat to the company for a while there. The attacks from social media, legacy media & wallstreet were relentless.
$TSLAQ wasn’t betting on bankruptcy, they were actively trying to cause a run on bank negative feedback loop outcome. Generate enough FUD and cause people to forego buying, raise borrowing costs & cut Tesla off from capital raises. It basically worked on solarcity. $TSLA
@AlterViggo You don’t see them on TV these days because they tear up. Tesla wasn’t a bankruptcy story but $TSLAQ really wanted to make it one. They failed massively. They are down at a time when the stock market is at an all time high.
The reason I say, “finally shows her true colors” is because Dana now joins a group of MSM reporters that think this account is block worthy for critiquing their work while following #DumDums that insult, harass, and spread lies about @Tesla & @elonmusk on a daily basis.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
2019 sure was a wild one! And what a better way to celebrate the New Year's Eve than checking how successful $TSLAQ's predictions for 2019 turned out to be! 😉
I think the replies here are instructive as to why Musk is so polarizing. It’s not that he hasn’t done things that merit criticism. It’s that there’s this weird Twitter-media culture where dunking on him is a cheap path to sure engagement. This effect then compounds. /1
@teslaownersSV We’ve all heard the typical Elon interview. I’d like to hear more introspective stuff; things like coffee or tea, favorite cocktail? ‘walk us through a typical work day for him’.
Optimistically, what does he see happening w/ Mars during his lifetime? Does he watch expanse?
Has anyone found out why @russ1mitchell is so anti tesla?
I just read his tweets regarding the GF4 forest. He dsnt seem to care that tesla has allready made a deal to replant the forest elsewhere and is now spreading missinformation about tesla destroying forests....

@Wallstcynic on Nov. 21, 2019: "Tesla is and remains one of our biggest and best short positions"
I would love to get an update from the man who is known for making stuff up, or, in his own words has "broad interpretation of the truth"

An irony:
All of the noise, chaff and disinfo swirling around Tesla likely allowed/convinced a bunch of traditional automotive execs to hold back on pot-committing to EVs.
That Tesla finds itself with a ~4 year product-spec lead is in part attributable to TSLAQ.
