Last chance to register for tomorrow's #webinar with @Lehmanns! #OpenAccess-Publikationen effizient organisieren über eine Plattform. https://t.co/f0tOWkuOYj
There’s something odd about saying that librarians need to contribute their budgets to #OA. Isn’t that similar to what subscriptions are? #strategies2019
Somewhat shocking to see that even those funding agencies with #OpenAccess policies are not funding as much #OA as you would expect. Vanessa Proudman @SPARC_EU emphasizes these funders also need to fund infrastructure projects. #oaspa2019 Hell YES they do (thanks @ResEngland!)
The principles underpinning the SPA OPS transformative #OA agreements are quite different from those so far articulated by larger publishers, and were co-developed by society pubs libraries and univ presses. https://t.co/fTPP5j7q4l #oaspa2019
Hot off the press at #OASPA2019 New article about #Library and #Scholar-led #OA publishing that @joe_dev talked about earlier today! Promoting the team (in image) @Graham_Stone @jeroenson – We give you: #Rebels with a Cause? https://t.co/R4Qp6iNoja
Oh, had to take my leave from #OASPA2019 already around 2.30. Wanted to make sure to find my way to airport (no good in orientering, #metadata, funding #oa etc I manage somehow). It was nice to see old friends (a-list) and make new ones (a-list+). TY @OASPA for intense days!
Thanks for our final keynote from @lfliz. Next conference summary and close from @RSPubDir then we are off. Remember to leave your name badges anywhere! Seats, reg desk, we'll find them!
Look out for survey email on Monday. Please share your honest full feedback abt #OASPA2019
We’ve still got a way to go, but the progress being made towards OA transition is real and meaningful and can be accelerated through collaboration. @lfliz#oaspa2019
My conceptualisation of impacts of transitioning to #OA publishing from where we are now, incl. impacts on #journal agreements & how, if that transition isn't achieved, various types of institutions will meet #Plan_S aims
Thanks to @Jisc colleagues for making look smart!
