@ProBikeKit - our order has been delayed by over a week and now you insist on sending it even though we are leaving the country! Please sort this out!! Still hasn’t been dispatched, needs to be cancelled as promised by your customer service. Don’t ruin any more of our holiday 😖
From Richard Nixon to Hillary Clinton, these are the presidential candidates who have conceded defeat over the last 60 years, all of them pledging to put partisan divisions aside and work with the winner to unite the country.
This is the best measure I’ve seen of quite how few #COVID19 tests the UK has done. It is an international league table of countries ranked by percentage of population tested, compiled by Julian Ozanne (who was on FT with me in another life). The UK comes 20th out of 20
❤ these rain gardens. If only we'd realised what was possible in #swansea for #kingsway during its design. Thanks to the #SUDs legislation in #Wales & our @NatResWales, @SwanseaCouncil @GreenInfraCons work work in #Swansea this should be the norm for newly planned development.
Think you are good at reading strangers?... think again: find a copy of @Gladwell ‘s #TalkingToStrangers or listen to the audiobook, which is next level 💥
This is what extinction sounds like. “Bernie Krause has been recording wildlife sounds, or "soundscapes," for over 40 years. He’s charted how they’ve changed over the course of climate change. Listen for yourself: the rising silence speaks volumes” 😢 https://t.co/bQQ1o3ZF2y
Happy #ThisisEngineering Day. Throw back to a few weeks ago when I was on site, a rare occasion these days but still love being an Engineer, whether doing technical or project management work. Its varied, challenging, rewarding and fulfilling. #womeninengineering#engineeringday
Nottingham hosted a fabulous #UDG2019 conference this week and I thoroughly enjoyed presenting about sustainable water management in Cardiff @cardiffcouncil. Lots of thought provoking discussion followed. Thanks everyone who engaged! @atkinsglobal
To end the first session we have learnings from the implementation of the SuDS Approval Body in Wales By Eva Linnell @atkinsglobal (and David Brain @cardiffcouncil) #UDG2019
@RBWM Strange to single out cyclists in this way when you compare it to other places people congregate. They hold football and rugby matches every week in my local stadium which causes absolute chaos with cars and parking, and large crowds of pedestrians.
@MrSimonDudley @rbwm still no reply to my request either.
Thousands in legal fees to get an injunction to stop ‘cyclists meeting’ at a cafe, to please one person who’s needs have already been catered for (with opening hours change and right of way protected). Desperately sad.
