@TKOastIsBack@WinC_Gaming I wish more franchises did this or even across franchisees now with Microsoft having Cod, Gears, Halo, Overwatch, and DOOOOOOM
@WinC_Gaming In multiplayer being able to search multiple titles at once is the new standard. This feature not gaining more adoption in the industry is anti-consumer.
@Salute07o7@Draculosity@EliTheNinja I think a rank playlist rework is due. Consolidate to one playlist, all titles downloaded, vote to skip added, 4v4 and 8v8 enabled but 4s much greater chance, max party size 4. The ultimate Halo playlist.
@NotJubei@ZenkaiGoose I am ready to pay $20 for an update to MCC to add more maps to Halo 3 specifically those by @Zee_Naught as well as other features like Thrust, map veto, and reworked ranked modes. But nice chatting with you, see you on the ring.
@NotJubei@ZenkaiGoose That was a great feature. The curbslide thing in Infinite was an attempt to continue the formula of sprint, slide, and thrust from 5 to give Halo a new identity. Sadly, I believe the rest of the combat suffered. Not to mention that ugly jiggle peak thing.
@Naded I got to play some of Infinite's maps early during Halo 5. I felt like if I was not saying I enjoyed something, I would not be invited again, even just subconsciously. But also it was Halo 5 > so I enjoy that more than Infinite in almost all aspects.
@NotJubei@ZenkaiGoose Halo 5 multiplayer was the only game with sprint from Halo that I enjoyed But there was a playlist in Halo 5 without sprint, and it was a lot of fun even without unrefined map design. Something similar can be said for Halo Reach's no bloom no sprint.
@NotJubei@ZenkaiGoose Valid point, can you give some ground to the argument of classic Halo MCC (no sprint Halo) with more developer support surpassing modern Halo (sprint)?
In its core Minecraft is a colonialist game and Iβm tired of pretending otherwise.
As the player, you extract natural resources from the land and transform it to suit your needs. Biomes act as development frontiers, with indigenous villages as trade outposts.
Thereβs an emphasis on tools and building a settlement with fellow colonists. The untamed environment is framed as inherently hostile and demands domestication through exclusionary perimeters and lighting.
As a game, Minecraft was fundamentally informed by Western colonial experiences, whereby settlers treated distant lands as peripheries ripe for extraction and colonization.
No other society apart from the West could have produced it.
I think we need to build this.
I designed this below image, representing Lewis and Clark on the Mississippi in the style of Argonath.
At $1 Billion or more, I think it can be done.
I'm seeing Halo tier lists make the rounds, so I'm sure you're all waiting for my definitive list as I am THE authority on Halo.
Here it is, the objectively correct Halo tier list from Halo CEO SteveChillGame:
