Hey #cPenNetwork community,

It’s been a while since our initial CEX listing, and we want to openly share the challenges, emotions, struggles, and lessons we’ve faced since the setback.

As a small team fueled by passion and big dreams, the listing outcome hit us hard. We watched the community’s enthusiasm, excitement and praise quickly turn into frustration, disappointment, anger, and doubt. It made us question our capabilities and whether our vision was even realistic. Much of it was new, unpredictable, and beyond our control. We were forced to confront just how optimistic we had been—and whether we were ready to face what lay ahead.

In the midst of this storm, we considered every possible direction. And yet, through it all, one thing kept coming back to us: our commitment to this project and the community behind it.

Thankfully, we also received tremendous encouragement and support during this period, which helped us begin to rebuild our confidence.

Today, we believe we’re finally turning the corner. We’re recovering, becoming stronger, and we've taken this time to re-evaluate and refine our goals. Here's our updated roadmap moving forward:

🔹 Enhanced Social Features
We’re rolling out social functionalities step-by-step, evolving the app into a full-fledged social media platform deeply integrated with blockchain and AI. This will be the foundation of our sustainability strategy—bridging blockchain with real-world use cases.

🔹 Mainnet Development
We’re postponing the open mainnet launch to focus more resources on enhancing the core app experience.

🔹 Local Services Transition
Current local services will be phased out and will be replaced with advanced features within our upcoming social media ecosystem.

🔹 Blockchain Loyalty for Merchants
Looking ahead, we aim to redefine traditional loyalty programs. Our long-term vision includes simple, token-based blockchain solutions that merchants can easily adopt.

🔹 CPEN Token Buyback
As promised, we’ve initiated a $CPEN token buyback to support ongoing development and will continue this effort. (Wallet: 0xd2F6f649D08D9f6a7882A0c74C2652880d1a3BDd)

We know there are still many challenges ahead. The path is uncertain. But we believe this experience will make us stronger, more prepared, and more determined than ever.

Thank you for standing by us.

At the International Conference Centre, Enugu with HE Senator Oluremi Tinubu @SenRemiTinubu, as she presents professionals kits to 10,000 midwives in South East, Nigeria. The event hosted by @PNMbah, the Governor of @EnuguState, is a good testament to the hospitable nature of the people of the state.

With the distribution of the professional kits to 60,000 midwives across the 6 geopolitical zones of our country, Her Excellency has reached almost 40% of total registered midwives in Nigeria thus creating a pool of well kitted and motivated skill birth attendants to deliver the agenda of @officialABAT to reduce MMR and U5MR by 20 and 15% respectively by 2027.

Her Excellency, the first lady our "Chief Public Health Champ," has remained consistent in using the Renewed Hope Initiative to promote health and well-being for all Nigerian. It was an opportunity to appreciate this unwavering commitment of Her Excellency on behalf of @Fmohnigeria.

Hey #cPenNetwork community, our project is growing rapidly with your support and we're excited to share our development plan with you:

After the distribution, we will use the cPen app profits to:
- Buy cPen tokens regularly (to boost liquidity pools and grow the project).
- This is a long-term strategy, not a one-time move!
- Share a public BSC wallet so everyone sees every action.
- Post monthly updates — total transparency, always.

Why This Matters:
- We’re here to stay: Reinvesting profits = proof we’re committed for the long haul.
- Better for you: Stronger liquidity = smoother trades for the community.

As you may already know we are a tiny team without outside investment. And this brings us some advantages:
- No outside investors = no pressure to sell tokens.
- Zero profit-sharing = more pennies go back into cPen.
- We spend wisely to keep the project running forever.

Thank YOU!
Over a year in, we are proud of what have achieved without hype and marketing — you made this work. Let’s keep growing together.

We’re more confident than ever about cPen’s future!

[cPen Network @cPenCoreTeam]

Previously, we announced that token mining will soon switch from $PEN to $INK (please update your app to the latest version if you haven’t already). Today, we want to clarify the differences between these two tokens and why both are essential to our ecosystem.

$PEN will be used as the gas fee token on the cPen blockchain when we have the open network, ensuring smooth, secure on-chain transactions. Looking ahead, $PEN will play a key role in the future development and governance of the cPen blockchain.

In contrast, $INK is designed for in-app purchases within the cPen App. Similar in spirit to Telegram’s Star—but with a major upgrade—$INK will be fully on-chain and transferable, giving you enhanced control and flexibility in your app interactions.

Eventually, we plan to separate the cPen blockchain from the cPen app to form the cPen Foundation. Separating functionalities lets us optimize both our blockchain and app experiences:
• $PEN powers blockchain transactions and future governance.
• $INK fuels app-specific features and in-app economies.

This dual-token approach not only streamlines operations but also lays the foundation for a scalable, robust ecosystem. Thanks for being a vital part of our journey as we continue to innovate and grow!

Important announcement for the #cPenNetwork community:

$PEN mining will conclude in late February 2025, with token distribution following in March (exact date TBA soon)

To be eligible for distribution, you MUST:
✓ Complete KYC verification
✓ Register your BSC wallet address (don't put your CEX address)
Note: Failure to complete these steps will result in forfeiture of your $PEN tokens

When $PEN mining ends, you'll automatically transition to mining $INK through your cPen mobile app. $INK will be an integral part of the cPen ecosystem

Post-$PEN distribution, we're excited to begin the development of https://t.co/8JddKzjq4K - a project that will introduce innovative features - we hope it will bring cPen network to a new level.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in the cPen Network. Follow us and set notifications on to stay informed about distribution dates and important updates! 🔔

Why will we buy cPen tokens?

We previously announced that we would regularly purchase cPen tokens. Based on community feedback, we’d like to clarify/correct our strategy:

Liquidity Pools
Purchasing cPen tokens is not intended to boost liquidity pools. As detailed in our Coin Economics, the Treasury pool already holds reserved liquidity tokens, so there’s no need to buy additional cPen tokens from the market for this purpose.

cPen App Project Development
We will acquire cPen tokens to support the development of the cPen app. Although our Coin Economics includes an Ecosystem Pool, its reserves are allocated for the cPen blockchain ecosystem. As mentioned earlier, the cPen blockchain and cPen app will eventually separate, with a dedicated cPen Foundation overseeing the blockchain ecosystem. Therefore, we’ve decided to regularly buy cPen tokens from the market to strengthen the cPen app ecosystem and drive its development.

Important Note
Our decision to buy cPen tokens is solely based on our commitment to advancing the cPen app project. This announcement is intended to provide transparency about our plans and should not be interpreted as advice regarding cPen tokens or any other cryptocurrency. Trading crypto involves risk, and you may lose your entire investment. Always conduct your own research before making any decisions.
