There is no gender war.
There are young men radicalised online to be violent, discriminatory and abusive towards women because they feel powerless and ashamed.
And then there are the women who refuse to take it.
Hell is pregnancy when my husband won’t look after me. Hell is coming home to a husband who doesn’t love me. Hell is sharing a home with a husband who treats me as his servant. Hell is a husband who cheats on me.

If I were a man I too would be the loudest advocate for marriage. In fact I’m constantly impressed by how thoroughly women were convinced that an institution offering men comfort and unpaid labor was somehow their prize. Imagine waking up to a life where your domestic needs
There’s an interesting convo on TikTok right now of how men weaponize food against women: the cooking, the gluttonous overeating and being inconsiderate, etc etc. Women are sharing stories of the men around them eating up food in the home with no consideration of others. Whew.
These ppl have no sympathy for their own mothers, they just see them as maids who also provide sex. I don't know what to call it other than rapist mentality. At least some men pretend to respect women in familial roles of mother, sister etc. These men have given up all pretense.
