Lord & Miller’s PROJECT HAIL MARY is a hopeful sci-fi spectacle by way of Jim Henson. Gosling is on a Caine in Muppets Christmas Carol-level with the way his chemistry with that cute puppet affected me. There was no tears left to cry in that IMAX 70mm theater.
