Lmao on one of my dads lists of “cons” regarding moving back to evanston - “many challenges of varmints” (in terms of gardening aka his passion)
It’s literally chris martin vs the squirrels, rats, gophers, rabbits, the list goes on
Trying to figure out which rat strain to use in your next response to stressors experiment? This paper draws on Evanston-based research to help you out. (Spoiler alert: go for the Long-Evans) https://t.co/MlGnxuMHIv
Congrats to @cityofevanston, @DanielBiss, @LukeStowe for being recognized for "excellence in data-driven local governance." In other news, the city shut down its open data 311 feed last summer which is why the Evanston Rat map is currently not working! So much for transparency
We're proud to share that #Evanston is one of only 50 cities to be certified by @WhatWorksCities for using data to guide decision making and better serve our community! https://t.co/SweqqU2MJo #CitiesWinWithData
still in disbelief that Evanston landlords got away with charging my friends $800 a month *each* to live in a house where they would have to hold a broom in one hand and open a cabinet with the other, just in case they’d need to swat at any rats that jumped out.
If you're aware of any hungry rodents in Evanston, IL, direct them to the alley in the 1100 block of Foster. If what I saw this morning is still there, rats (in particular) will have a feast.
