I'm currently waiting in the virtual queue for Star Wars Celebration LA... Since my first attempt to attend (in 2020) was a bust (for obvious reasons), we're giving it another go!
@crochet_mom314 I usually prefer it at the end, but if your character names are REALLY out there and hard to pronounce, the beginning is a good idea lol
I mean… it’s gotta be Found Family. Gimme the warm fuzzies, people who bond through trauma, adoptive parents, neighbors who are 100% there for each other when times are tough, the group of unrelated space rebels who fill the various roles in a traditional family model…
In light of the Avatar leaks, I wanted to share a list of our visual development artists. There is so much amazing work we did on the film that we are not allowed to share right now, and it’s thanks to these people that the movie looks the way it does. Thread below ⬇️
@mayyde Agree! 12 and 24FPS are my faves. 30+ can look cool for a short experiment but I'd get tired of watching it pretty quick for anything narrative-based. And it's cruel and unusual punishment for those who have to animate it. 😅
@booksandmulder Ooh fantastic list! Many of my faves are already on it but these two seem to fit the general vibe:
- Secondhand Lions
- Holes
(sorry if I missed them, I did check the list)
@AbigailFalanga It greatly depends on the story and writing style, of course, but generally I like longer fantasies. If I'm really bored, however, I will put it down and move on... I don't like long books just for the sake of their length.
Think this whole "listing stuff on FB Marketplace" thing is driving me a little cray-cray... 😅 I respond to Spanish inquiries in the only foreign language I know: French.
Struggling with writer's block?
The Story Engine Deck is your new secret weapon!
This deck has 180 cards and limitless possibilities to inspire your next tale. Find out how @Evergreena uses the deck for writing novels and short stories!
I found my old daily to-do lists from when I worked on Glitch Techs at Nick. Man, those production days were PACKED. (Pardon my horrible handwriting…😬)
My very first production notebook was this Nickelodeon studio gift that had interchangeable covers. They didn’t have any Glitch Techs covers though, so being the GT Nicktern, it was my job to print some images from our animation test for the entire crew!
