Whether it was from my time in the Navy and at NASA, serving in the United States Senate, or visiting our troops overseas: I've learned that when your country asks you to serve, you always answer the call.
@TinaKimCNN@priscialva The big question on #immigration tonight is who is looking out for mixed status families and their future and who wants to separate families?
There's a stark contrast over the @POTUS and the former President.
On June 18th American families felt hopeful again. @amerifamsunited
"We celebrate alongside millions whose futures are brighter today, stand with those waiting for similar protections, and renew our commitment to protecting this progress and fixing every aspect of our failed immigration system..." — @TheToddSchulte#ProtectAmericanFamilies
The @FWDus team is excited to be at the WH and hear firsthand how the Biden admin will use existing authorities to improve Dreamers’ access to EB visas, provide relief for spouses of U.S. citizens, and improve the lives of over half a million families in our communities.
Since my first Congress, I’ve introduced the American Families United Act for those who are needlessly separated by a cruel, outdated immigration system.
I couldn't be prouder to stand with @amerifamsunited today as @POTUS proudly declares #FamiliesBelongTogether.
Today after years of advocacy we saw @POTUS take a monumental step to protect the undocumented spouses of US citizens. The rest of our work starts today but let’s take a moment to celebrate history being made.
@douglasrivlin Watch a new advertisement from @FWDus that tells the story of a mixed status family who would face separation. Everek Sánchez, a citizen, and his wife, Rosa Elena Sánchez, a DACA recipient and long-time resident of Arizona

NEW: We just published straightforward steps to streamline the 212(d)(3) waiver process that would increase participation in this existing legal pathway, allowing many Dreamers to access a more secure status and open up paths to citizenship in the future https://t.co/9mvwkRJnF3
U.S. citizens’ spouses, family caregivers, and Dreamers are counting on Pres. Biden to take action to allow them to support their families and prevent harmful deportations that tear families apart.
The President has the authority to protect them and I'm calling on him to use it.
