Are you getting fed up with everything being BREAKING NEWS?
Every new day it's:
🚨 "THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING."
🚨 "YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT."
🚨 "THIS IS HUGE."
Then... it's just more of the same.
It feels like we're being kept in a perpetual state of anticipation—always waiting for the next "big" event, the next revelation, the next crisis.
Every new day we're told everything is changing.
Yet somehow we end up running the same hamster wheel.
Is it just me, or has the attention economy become more exhausting than informative?

@disclosetv "NOW - Trump announces the disclosure and declassification of documents reportedly exposing critical intelligence..." and here I thought he was going all in FINALLY on the Epstein Files...
@theurigeller I don't know why we're so obsessed with Mars when we've barely figured out how to live together on Earth. Perhaps solving the problems beneath our feet should come before chasing the ones millions of miles away.
AI won't wipe out humanity.
Aliens aren't coming to invade us.
Reality isn't a simulation.
Fear is the oldest tool of power. Keep people anxious, distracted and divided, and they'll surrender freedoms they would never give up in calmer times.
An actual man. And an actual woman would also be capable of doing those things.
Only boys and girls (children) require someone else to assist or do for them such tasks/chores. Problem is majority of society has forgotten how to adult. Back in my day kids had to learn by doing chores around the house.
Seems this is not the case, you can thank smartphones, social media, TikTok and the vapid attention economy.
At this point milking the meme is one thing, but then to complain that idiots actually think you're Epstein, well sir you don't have much of a leg to stand on. You are a perfect example of making your own bed, and now you must lie in it.
Why you felt it would be a good idea to play into this in the first place is beyond me. But then it's no surprise given how degenerate society has become. All to take a bite out of this vapid attention economy.
@vxylily Yes it's the polite thing to do. Social etiquette, something that is a rarity nowadays unfortunately. But if they're taking their sweet ass time and expect me to stand there holding it like a doorman then no. Being considerate is key.
A better question is why hasn't anything changed in the design or standards of airflight since the 1970s? We still have those pesky NO SMOKING signs... you'd think by now they'd have some better ideas. But I guess they're way too focused in trying to launch rockets to get us to the Moon (again?) and Mars... your guess is as good as mine. 🤷
Grigori Rasputin, Mikhail Bulgakov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Igor Stravinsky, Alexander Pushkin, Anton Chekhov, Wassily Kandinsky, Anna Pavlova, Yuri Gagarin, Sergei Eisenstein, Andrei Tarkovsky... can name quite a few actually, many Russians contributed in their own way towards Western culture as well (ironically), and yet the country remains at a constant crosshairs with the Anglo-American military industrial complex that wishes to continue the Cold War.
