Zack Snyder’s Justice League presents Darkseid as one of the most terrifying forces in the DC universe, even before he fully becomes the ruler audiences know. The ancient battle on Earth is a breathtaking display of cosmic warfare, with armies of Parademons descending upon the planet while the Mother Boxes become instruments of destruction.

At the center of this conflict is Uxas, the warrior who would eventually become Darkseid. His invasion is not simply another superhero battle. It is a clash between an emerging New God and the combined forces of humanity, the Amazons, Atlanteans, the Old Gods, and a Green Lantern. The scale of the confrontation immediately establishes that Darkseid operates on a completely different level from ordinary villains.

The movie’s visual language makes the invasion feel almost mythological. Zeus, Ares, Artemis, Atlantean warriors, Amazons, humans, and the Lantern stand together against an overwhelming Apokoliptian army. Darkseid himself enters the battlefield like a force of nature, cutting through defenders and demonstrating the raw power that would eventually make his name legendary.

Yet the battle also reveals something important: Earth did not simply fall before him. Its defenders united and fought back. Ares was able to wound Uxas, while the combined resistance ultimately forced his forces to retreat. That defeat became an important part of Darkseid’s history, turning Earth into a world connected to a mystery he would later seek to solve.

The movie never needs to explain every detail to make Darkseid intimidating. His presence, the scale of his army, and the devastation surrounding him communicate his threat visually.

That is what makes the ancient invasion sequence so memorable. It feels less like a conventional superhero fight and more like a forgotten chapter from an epic mythology.

Darkseid represents domination, power, and absolute control. His eventual pursuit of the Anti-Life Equation adds another dimension to his character, making him more than a physically powerful conqueror. He is a cosmic tyrant determined to eliminate free will itself.

Justice League turns his history into a legendary piece of DC mythology, showing that long before Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman united, Earth had already stood against one of the universe’s greatest threats.

Albus Severus isn’t Harry naming his son like a trophy while Ginny just stands there without a voice. It’s actually one of the most Harry Potter things in the entire epilogue. Harry spent seven years being saved by a headmaster he never fully understood and a professor he spent most of his life hating. Naming his son Albus Severus wasn’t Harry saying these men were perfect. It was Harry admitting that both men, in completely different ways, shaped the reason he survived the war. You can recognize someone’s flaws and still acknowledge what they meant to your life.

And people forget that Ginny wasn’t some silent character who existed just to marry Harry. She grew up in that war too. She watched Harry walk into the Forbidden Forest knowing he might never come back. She knew what Dumbledore and Snape meant to him. James Sirius, Lily Luna and Albus Severus aren’t Harry turning his children into a memorial wall. They’re names connected to the people and sacrifices that shaped both of their lives. If Ginny truly hated the name, it probably wouldn’t be there. The epilogue isn’t pretending the war was clean. Harry is simply choosing to remember the complicated people who helped him survive it.

Jennifer Walters got her powers from Bruce Banner’s gamma-irradiated blood, but what makes her different is that she can retain Jennifer’s personality while in her Hulk form. Marvel has also taken Jen through major transformations, including her Immortal era.

So imagine if her gamma abilities eventually stopped being just a transformation and started evolving with her.

Stronger body. Greater resilience. More control over her Hulk form. Maybe even the ability to decide how powerful she becomes without completely losing Jennifer Walters.

Eventually, She-Hulk wouldn’t just be another Hulk.

She’d be the version of a Hulk that finally mastered what Bruce spent years trying to control.

And honestly, I think that could make her one of the most dangerous Hulks in Marvel

Deadpool stepping through a portal, asking Batman and Superman where Thanos is, then immediately walking off is the whole industry in one picture. Marvel keeps dragging Infinity War into everything while DC comics just took a bigger slice of shop sales than them.

Gunn’s Superman already rewrote the guy’s parents and the follow-up movie didn’t land. Both sides keep throwing characters at each other because neither wants to admit their own well is running dry. The joke writes itself at this point.
