@sinnerandrew @imadriienne I believe he had to request and put it on the record (that’s why he seemed nervous, he likely didn’t want one but needs to ask). If she doesn’t get NGRI, he can go back to this for an appeal. I assume today was an ask for a plea or for additional time to prepare.

@noperosie @little_foot777 My background is in criminology and justice. The first two years was focused on critical analysis and citations via APA guidelines. It was exhausting and often shows as distasteful to people, which we had to study to overcome. We could not make a statement without evidence.

@noperosie @little_foot777 Again, we have different outlooks on trial strategy and that’s ok. I am pro prosecution based on the evidence presented and you are not. That’s why a jury is so important - they can’t be pro either side.

@marcorandazza It’s important to implement precedents and reform in the future, and the case can be cited, but the case is about right from wrong, not social issues. It’s about Cora, Callan, and Dawson, not about advocacy for Lindsay. I am a woman and find reasonable doubt as to her insanity.

@benny171a @Bward3 @boston25 They couldn’t prove either so moved to bipolar since the symptoms from it, after postpartum and during, are linked. That’s why he got so angry at Dr. Mack stating Lindsay doesn’t think she have it. Defence was relying on bipolar if neither stuck.

@Bward3 @boston25 Postpartum is a timeline, but psychosis is a presentation. He can speak on presentations from other disorders that lead to psychosis.

@camhigby I have a feeling if Patrick moves ahead with discovery for defamation, there may be a source that started the claims. It didn’t feel organic. Let’s hope he publicly states they are false. He has the power to do that. If he doesn’t, hopefully that’s investigated in discovery.
