Seattle Storm minority owner Celeste Keaton has been fined by the WNBA and suspended for her team's next five home games following an incident Tuesday night involving a pair of Sophie Cunningham fans, per @CasNegley

The incident reportedly occurred when the two young women, wearing shirts for a brand advocating against the inclusion of transgender women in women's sports, held up signs reading "We love you Sophie" and "Thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls" while sitting courtside for the Fever-Storm game.

Their appearance came a week after Cunningham made comments against transgender inclusion.

The Sophie Cunningham movement is growing.

Supporters are planning rallies outside upcoming Indiana Fever games in Portland, Oregon, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, after two teenage fans were left in tears during a confrontation with a Seattle Storm co-owner.

"I want to stand in public solidarity with those girls. I also want to stand in public solidarity with Sophie and keep this momentum going," Washington-based activist Amy Sousa said.

"We were just going to do something quiet with just a couple of us, and seeing what happened to those girls, we just thought, 'We can't be quiet.'"

This is real courage.

The WNBA — possibly the wokest organization in America — gave Sophie Cunningham a choice: apologize for saying women and girls deserve to be protected in their own locker rooms, or take a 5-game suspension.

She’s choosing the bench.

While the league continues pushing biological males into women’s spaces, Cunningham refuses to bend the knee. She would rather sit out games than betray female athletes and young girls who deserve fairness and safety.

One of the few voices in professional sports still willing to tell the truth.
