Our paper on a scale measuring moral injury is out (psychological suffering caused by perpetrating or witnessing actions against one's core beliefs https://t.co/PeZKIljkQi) same month I belatedly picked up "The Quarry". 10/10 spoopy fun. Had to draw this.
@SuperMGames@tedraimi
@rhiannon_jeans Woah I've been off twitter too long - please accept a very overdue solemn nod of the bonnet + less solemn happy dance in congratulations of your conferral, Dr!
@KerbalSpaceP Yes it took me years to notice this... and yes it warms my heart Sir K's celebrations were recognised! He remains a hearty and happy housemate (when he's not jaunting off to the Mun).
I've a bone to pick with you 2020 self. You left me a completed analysis... But the markdown has caption float errors in one of the 10+ tables and won't compile. It's like a treasure hunt where you've found X hours ago, but your shovel keeps phasing through the soil as you dig.
Embargo period is over for "Trajectories of BMI change impact glucose and insulin metabolism". Relates to a hobbyhorse of mine - temporal context matters in all things! (including BMI)

Prepping for taking some microscopy students through the basics of digital image manipulation for science, trying out some new open source programs they're likely to encounter. ImageJ is fun.
I wrote a blog post about scatter plots over on https://t.co/a2QnTqZYYT, they are all too easily taken for granted. Check it out here: https://t.co/yg2yi6ZnCY
