Wisconsinites deserve to know what’s happening in our elections.

Last year, 71% of WI voters approved a constitutional amendment banning noncitizen voting. Currently, voters don’t have to show proof of citizenship. They only check a box saying they are a citizen.

On Friday, a judge ruled that the Wisconsin Elections Commission must remove noncitizens from our voter rolls and require proof of citizenship for all voters. But Democrat AG Josh Kaul is seeking to halt the decision, leaving it in limbo for now.

It’s clear that Wisconsinites want secure, honest elections. As governor, I will fight for election integrity, starting with requiring election officials to compare voter registrations with DOT records to ensure that only U.S. citizens are voting.
