Don't Leave Your Pet in the Car!
If you see an animal trapped in a car on a hot day, try to locate the owner or call 911! Stay by the car until assistance arrives.
During extremely hot and humid weather, your body's ability to cool itself is challenged. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides a list of warning signs and symptoms of heat illness, and recommended first aid steps.
