@Nombe@vurnt22 I had a copy. I learned part of “Stop,” but learning much of “Cliffs of Dover” was not going to happen for me. When “Stain” was released, I tweaked my Peavey Pro-Fex so I could pull off a reasonably accurate “Nothingness.” A great album, and a great live show (LC + Bad Brains).
@idlesband@Primavera_Sound It took me a few viewings to get past “Colossus,” because it’s absolutely perfect as the opener here. Just raw and explosive.
The retention of classified information is always wrong, but hoo boy do we apparently have vastly different prosecutorial standards for different people.
Where’s John Bolton’s Judge Cannon?
New: Former Trump National Security advisor John Bolton has agreed to plead guilty to a single count of retaining classified information related to a diary entry. Under the agreement, he faces up to 60 months in jail and a $2.25 million fine. The plea deal would settle a massive indictment that carry decades in prison and millions of dollars in legal fees.

“…building ‘a data center in your area to support artificial intelligence, or AI, technology in the U.S.’”
Maybe the reality is simply that most people are strongly opposed to data centers?
Labeling opposition to data centers “discord and chaos” would be a stretch for anyone but House Republicans, who’ll happily defend the current administration’s worst concepts.

The flights will be suspended from August 5 through October 4.
the current director of national intelligence is a guy who two years ago received a trophy declaring he “Fucks Only The Young” at an (oddly dildo focused) event he organized dedicated to the conspiracy that Bed Bath and Beyond never actually went bankrupt
NEW - Pulte “no evidence of any qualifications”.
Sen. @JohnCornyn to me on Bill Pulte as the Director of National Intelligence, “I see no evidence of any qualifications for that job.”
Congressional statute:
"There is a Director of National Intelligence who shall be appointed by the President ... Any individual nominated for appointment as Director of National Intelligence shall have extensive national security expertise."

@dollymad1812 I saw him at Six Flags Over Mid-America (now Six Flags St. Louis) not long after “Oh, What a Night” was released. They used to have decent talent performing on Saturday evenings, and the shows were included with the ticket price.
@Oriana0214 Someone at Kankakee (IKK) owned two or three of them in the late 90’s. Always cool to see when we’d drop in from MDW (the airport manager at the time was an ARNG Blackhawk pilot, and we’d practice sling loads and slope landings there).
NEW: The Pentagon is moving to recruit hundreds of troops to appear as spectators at President Donald Trump’s UFC cage-fighting event at the White House, and requiring those who attend to pay their own way and meet height and weight requirements.
One inquiry worth pursuing: was this fund set up as a vehicle to pay a Trump political militia to meddle in November’s elections with intimidation, harassment or even violence against voters at polling places? Inquiring minds want to know.
