Oh, I hate both. I hate Trump because he's willing to villify people to drive voting behavior, and I hate his policies because they are the product of stupidity and a short attention span.

Trump's plan is not so unlike the Republicans in the eighties. Directly helping the working class by raising minimum wage, etc, is *not* what they want. But they need the votes, so they convicted people that directly helping the rich and corporations will *also* help the working class. Which it doesn't.

Trump is about protectionism and manufacturing in the USA, but he hires undocumented people and sells MAGA hats made in China.

In the Trump case, the inflation was definitely helped along by the pandemic rebound, but he had been heating up the economy for a couple years prior to that for big stock gains to brag about.

Also, you may remember that literally everyone thought Biden was going to have a recession. And he didn't. He had a "miracle" soft landing.

Every country experiences this downturn in fertility. You're not going to make women want to have four babies unless there's a need to do that, or they don't have access to birth control or abortion.

And your cost of living is high because Reagan thought that rich people would spend the extra money he let them keep and that would drive growth in the middle class.
