For those of you wanting gen 6-7 shiny rates, I'm not the best resource since I barely played those games from a research standpoint.
This is @lincolnlm_'s table of gen 6-7 shiny rates based on RNG research. Most of the info is from @wwwwwwzx's research!

What about lures? Their descriptions say they make rare Pokémon more likely to appear.
If you have a lure active, the game makes 2 attempts instead of 1 to spawn a rare or legendary Pokémon.
For legendary birds, this is two rolls of 1/2000.
Next, the game decides if you get a rare spawn instead of the default spawn or Catch Combo spawn.
The Catch Combo species does not matter for this check. It entirely depends on the current length of the Catch Combo.
You do not have to continue to catch either!
I've included all the curry encounter rate tables for Sword and Shield! These are calculated with the previous formula, taking into account the float casting that slightly alters some of the values.
Happy hunting!

Pokémon Legends: Arceus v 1.1.0 (Daybreak) introduces Massive Mass Outbreaks, which are widespread outbreaks across a map. They have a modestly higher shiny rate than regular wild Pokémon.
Here are the revised shiny rates for the new patch!
Shiny hunters will enjoy Pokémon Legends: Arceus! Along with the Shiny Charm, many new mechanics can further improve your chances of finding a shiny from the base 1/4096 rate.
Here are your shiny rates as of version 1.0.1.
I looked into LGPE's chain combo mechanism. It turns out the Catch Combo bonus only applies once to the next spawn of the chained species after one is captured.
@PokemonElement@EtienneSimard21 Forgive me for using English, but I'm also experiencing issues accessing the website. Are there still outages, or could my IP address still be blocked? Both LTE and Wi-Fi are affected.
@Zolmation tldr Poké Radar BDSP
- Use Max Repel.
- Go for tiles 4 away. Ignore what they look like.
- Catch everything for highest continue rate.
- Once your chain is high enough, use the Poké Radar again (walk to recharge) until shiny patch appears.
- Pray you don't get the 7% chain break.
BDSP's Move Reminder services are free after you give him 10 Heart Scales.
I guess this is a way to be somewhat faithful to the originals while still being a QoL improvement since SWSH had free relearn services.
Let's put this question/rumor to rest.
In this video, Cresselia's entry doesn't display the shiny form in Dex even though the roaming Cresselia is shiny.
I expect Mesprit to work the same way.
No, you can't use the Dex to check that it's shiny without encountering it.
Seems "LightStone" is the 40 Diglett bonus and not any statue bonus as people are assuming and spreading around.
That means that along with 4 minutes of a high chance to find a shiny statue, the Diglett bonus also gives you 1 extra shiny roll when active.
Still more to learn!
Here are all the BDSP v1.1.1 shiny rates on one page in the same format as my SWSH table. See the notes for common "what about" questions.
It's a good day if you're a full-odds shiny hunter.
@SciresM Any idea what the Masuda odds are? SwSh increased it by one, but the first roll was skipped due to a bug, so I'm wondering if they correctly implemented it in these games.
