Harold "Sonny" White just emerged from stealth with Casimir Inc. and unveiled MicroSPARC: a tiny battery free chip that claims to harvest continuous electrical power from the quantum vacuum using the Casimir effect.

A 5 mm x 5 mm device. There is no fuel, no moving parts and no external power source. Just millions of microscale Casimir cavities producing a measurable DC current from vacuum pressure and quantum tunneling.

Early prototypes reportedly run at millivolt to volt outputs, with commercial targets around 1.5 V at 25 µA, enough for ultra low power sensors, implants, wearables, and always on IoT devices.

If this scales from microwatts to milliwatts, watts, and beyond, we're talking about a completely new category of power generation.
