I always thought soulsborne games in general would’ve been better with greater portion of storytelling. I get why people like the cryptic nature of the games, but I honestly felt disappointed playing through many areas where I thought more lore was needed.
@aderayo_xo1 Only his; Eren was deceiving both Armin and Mikasa to get his point through. If it was the case then we would see the other shifters being influenced by the emotions of previous owners.
@Redux26@L000315@MrCrowbarBlunt Thanks for explaining. This ending isn’t bad, and at least more realistic in consequences than the fanfiction one. I personally don’t hate what we got though; it’s consistent with Eren’s character (to prioritise his friends) even if the repetition of the cycle was disappointing.
@obviouslyhisu That doesn’t say anything. Eren was going to carry out his plan to the end, the only difference is he tried to make Mikasa forget about him and live freely, even though as we saw in the end he secretly wished she wouldn’t move on and forget about him.
@SLAVEKNIGHTX Probably not in terms of boss quality, but I agree the lack of strong connection between areas made it feel like moving to independent worlds at times. What about Cainhurst you found overrated? It’s very unique, the lore and the boss are great too.
@SLAVEKNIGHTX Kind of idiotic because that means you have to fight most enemies every single time you die, even when you’re just trying to get to the boss, search for an item, or find a shortcut.
@Flicker0x1@Ahteeg_V It’s precisely because she never moved on, as you can see in these panels. Her motivation from the beginning of the series has always been in relation to Eren; so it’s weird how she’d just let it be and get on with someone else. She can live and be content without marriage.
