@Zak_Louisa The antidote to nihilism is to embrace the absurdity of it all and march into certain struggles with your head held high.
I do feel nihilism may be a necessary step on this journey though.
When youโre feeling down, remember there is an Arabic saying that goes:
โYou want to die?
Then throw yourself into the sea & youโll see yourself fighting to survive.
You do not want to kill yourself, rather you want to kill something inside of you.โ
@Zak_Louisa Yesterday I gave myself such a break and it was nearly transcendental.
I went as far to have an inner dialogue with myself about the fact that my internal bully is not allowed to reach me at this time.
It's a thin line between being hard on yourself or genuinely malicious.
Why is it that giving oneself a genuine break always results in a desire to push forward productively after?
I take breaks begrudgingly, but ignoring the need for them results in stealing productivity from myself in disruptive micro actions.
