@RichardEGrant So many people are hit by that storm every day . I have been. So sorry for your loss. Love and best wishes to you and your family and anyone who has to deal with heart wrenching loss. Xx
No true leader burdened his followers with a greater load than they could carry, and no true leader sets too fast a pace for his follows to keep up. - Malcolm X
@itvMLshow@MartinSLewis@angellicabell@ITV Hi Martin. I am a 58 year old widow, work from home, really isolated over lockdown. I want to solo holiday in the UK or Ireland, don’t want a singles trip or coach tour. Want to avoid supplements for singles and pay the same as everyone else.
This story...wow.
A 6 year-old boy lost his life in a car accident. His drawings and story caught the attention of a leather maker, who turned the young boy's art into a wallet as a special gift for his mother. 🥺😭❤️🙌

@KamalaHarris For 35 years, as a professional woman, I have worked in male dominated environments both in the military in the UK, (when women were not allowed to serve at sea) and beyond. My advice, have a both/and approach, rather than an either/or one. All genders together are stronger.
My daughter Midshipman B W Curry is at the ceremony. Her first Remembrance in uniform. So proud she is there representing women in the @RoyalNavy with respect and commitment and that common bond, service. #WeWillRememberThem

Tell them of us and say
For your tomorrow
We gave our today” ~John Maxwell Edmonds
Join our online #RemembranceSunday service on 8 Nov to remember those who gave their lives for our today. (There is no service at Kranji.) #VirtualRemembranceSG#LestWeForget
@RodgrantRod@FlyNavyPhil@RoyalNavy I was detached to Engadine as a Wren Radar but required because I was a Nav's Yeo. All kept relatively quiet! This would have been '82 I think. I went to BRNC in 84. My time on Engadine wasn't without it's colour.
I was 'not allowed' to go sea during my time in the Royal Navy in the 80's. Shows how old I am :-). It is a different RN now and proud to have my daughter recently graduate from BRNC, and awaiting further training for service in the Fleet Air Arm. @RoyalNavy
30 years ago this week 14 women blazed a trail and went to sea on deployment in the #RoyalNavy for the first time. Today there is no limit to where and what role you can serve in the RN.
