in our time there.
We are also incredibly excited about making new friendships across the wider baseball community and receiving the support we need to grow our club into something glorious and spreading the word further about baseball in Exeter and the surrounding areas
After much deliberation, the Exeter Spitfires have decided to rejoin the BBF and compete within SWWBL in the 2025 season.
This decision has not been made or affected in any way due to personal matters, as our relationships within the WBL were always excellent and is something
we highly value. However, with our baseball club on the verge of potential exponential growth, we feel this would be better supported within the structure and guidance of the NGB.
We leave the WBL with a heavy heart and wish to retain the good relationships we have forged

@kayperbeats Don't suppose you fancy coming down to Exeter to cut the turf on our new diamond? we are doing it to mark the 200th birthday of Henry Chadwick who was born less than a mile away from the home plate. We have a gold shovel and everything!
Hi @TylerKepner 200 years after his birth in Exeter, we are cutting the turf on brand new diamond to be named after Henry Chadwick. Less than a mile away from the church in which he was baptised, would you like to help us publicise it?
@felixwhite@mattedcous Hi Felix - we are holding a ceremony in a couple of months to mark the 200th birthday of Henry Chadwick, and we will be cutting the turf on a new diamond to be named after him - would be great to have you involved
